Welcome Home Newborn Session | Family Photographer Jamie Lucido
Many families find me during a milestone in their lives: weddings, births, and special events. It is such an honor to be asked to preserve these moments, and Welcome Home sessions are some of the sweetest! When a new baby is born, I offer a ‘Welcome Home, Newborn Session’ within baby’s first 10 days at home.
Not only is the first week home the perfect time for newborn pictures, but what could be more meaningful and convenient than being beautifully captured, in your own environment! These sessions are meant to be relaxed and as easy as possible for both baby and family. They’re also perfect if siblings and/or pets will be part of the images!
Whether it is the first session for our Milestone Year, or as a stand-alone session, the Welcome Home session is a beautiful way to commemorate such a huge milestone. I had the joy of meeting the Coccia family last week, with the birth of their first daughter. Congratulations, Katie and Andrew, your new little snuggle bug is just precious! I look forward to meeting up with you again for more milestones this year!

I love the idea of doing a welcome home session for a newborn! I always think it is so special to remember what the homes you live in during special moments look like! Also, the photo with the dog by the crib – perfect!
