Welcoming a new baby home from the hospital is, for so many parents, a blur of time with so much to do for the baby and siblings, and so little sleep.  Many of my newborn families recognize how precious and fleeting the first week is, and opt for an at-home lifestyle session.  Especially for families with older siblings, its the perfect solution for keeping baby comfortable, older kids relaxed, and no need to stress about travel for pictures.  At-home sessions can happen any time of day, which also makes it easy to schedule around naptimes and mealtimes.

I was so excited to visit this beautiful family and capture a blend of posed and candid moments during their new baby girl’s first week at home!  Congratulations to the Davenport family! <3
