Mommy and Me Photography| Happy Mother’s Day!
In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, I wanted to share a sweet Mommy and Me photography session from last week. Mother/child sessions can be with children of any age. I especially love it when multiple generations are involved! Moms love pictures with their kids, and this is a wonderful way to pamper mom with hair/makeup, and a sweet afternoon with her little loves!
For this session, all of us were feeling a little adventurous, so I suggested Anne Springs Greenway, which offers a variety of settings and changes with the seasons. We ventured across a hanging bridge, had a pink lemonade toast, dipped our toes in a creek, found a beautiful orchard, and ended up in a breezy field of grass just before sunset.
I had such a fun time with Amanda and Jay, and know from my own experience as a mom, that taking a time-out to capture pictures with your children, and having those images to enjoy through the years, is a beautiful gift for both of you. I absolutely love Mommy and Me photography, and definitely practice what I preach. I’ve got about five zillion pictures of my kids, but the ones where I’m in the picture too, interacting with my little loves are always favorites. Get in there and enjoy the moment. See yourself as your children see you: to them, you’re the most beautiful person in the world. <3
