You guys! I am STILL smiling from Saturday’s wedding at Morning Glory Farm, with Karla and Taylor.  The whole day was filled with so much sweetness, and when you see this couple together, you can’t help but feel lucky to be in the presence of so much joy!

If you’ve been following my blog, you know that Morning Glory is one of my very favorite venues near Charlotte.  The farm is wonderfully designed for weddings: from the gorgeous Bridal Cottage and the rustic Barn where the bride and groom can get ready separately, to all the beautiful fields and pathways for portraits, and of course, the ceremony site that looks out on a sweet pond and open field.   And don’t even get me started about sunset– people, its AMAZEBALLS to sneak away from the reception for a few minutes while the sun is setting over the Farm, which is exactly what we did!

Karla and Taylor traveled from Nashville, to tie the knot surrounded by family and friends in Monroe, NC.  If you’re in the midst of planning your own wedding, you know the planning part is not easy- double that effort, when you’re doing it from a few states away.  But with the help of their Charlotte family, all the details came together, and it was perfection!

Pink and ivory flowers, with pale iris dresses on the bridesmaids, and mid grey suits on the gentlemen were the colors of the day, blending beautifully with the natural elements at Morning Glory Farm.  And check out their PINK cake, seriously gorgeous!  I know the memory of their wedding day will be a joy in the hearts of all who were there.  Thank you so much for allowing me to document your Best Day!  Wishing you two an amazing time on your honeymoon!  * This wedding also on the cover, and featured in Premier Weddings Magazine, Charlotte *  <3
