Engagement Session at Morning Glory Farm | Charlotte Engagement Photographer

Looking for your engagement photographer?  I love engagement sessions!  They are the perfect opportunity to do something fun with your fiance, and get some practice together in front of the camera.  Plus, you get to use those photos for save the dates and as decor on your wedding day!  When Sarah contacted me about her engagement session and wedding at Morning Glory Farm, I was so excited!

They knew they were getting married at Morning Glory, and wanted their engagement pictures in the same location, which worked out perfectly- this venue is a favorite of mine, too!  So much care goes into the property at Morning Glory, whether you’re by the pond, the barn, the orchard, or any of the beautiful pathways in between, there are so many gorgeous details on 48 acres of property, lovingly tended to by the owners.  It is an incredible spot for a wedding, and so much fun to explore during an engagement session!

We spent a beautiful fall afternoon walking the grounds during this engagement session and it was sweet to hear about how Sarah and John met (in High School!) and reconnected their last year in college.  One of my favorite parts about an engagement session is hearing the details of a couple’s love story, and getting to know their personalities.  These two were naturals in front of the camera- between the golden light and their warm smiles, every image was glowing with joy!

I’m super excited for this sweet couple and the next chapter in their lives.  I can’t wait to see them again on their wedding day (and I think the dog who lives at Morning Glory will be really excited to see us again, too… as long as we bring that delicious blanket!) <3 #WindellLoveSpell

Morning Glory Farm is located in Monroe, NC, just 40 minutes south of Charlotte, NC. 

The farm is filled with beautiful garden details, several buildings, a gorgeous lake and pasture for animals, winding trails and a vineyard!
