I LOVE my Milestone Families!  With regular sessions at 3 or 4 month intervals throughout the year, we get to develop a special kind of trust that makes our sessions so much FUN (and so gorgeous!).   Most of my Milestone Families find me when they are expecting children (these are the PERFECT types of sessions for baby’s first year!), and I adore watching the kids grow!

Many Milestone Families enjoy a Birthday/Cake Smash at their 1-year session, but this gorgeous family had another idea:  ‘We have this red truck…’  I could hardly contain my excitement 🙂  Come to my neighborhood, I said, I know the perfect spots…. <3   I loved Max’s 1-year session for so many reasons, but at the top of my list, was the variety and authenticity we were able to capture.  In one fun hour, we captured two ‘looks’ in two locations close to each other, which gave us both ‘Fall’ and ‘holiday’-ready images.  So many special elements made this shoot personal:  Dad’s amazing truck, a gorgeous family heirloom quilt to sit on (that quilt was a common element in many of our shoots last year!), and the classic feel to Baby Max’s toys (a red wagon and colorful balls were a hit!).  By trusting me to select the locations, and interacting with ease in front of the camera, (Trust is Everything!) we were able to create a memorable experience and beautiful gallery.

These images are some of my favorites because they are drenched in beautiful light, so playful, colorful, and honest.   Get inspired by these beautifully coordinating outfits, too- just perfect!   I’m so excited to see this family again this month, and see how much the kids have grown!  #ilovemyjob
