Christmas Tree Farm Fall Family Photography

Fall is a wonderful time for Family photography, and Christmas Tree Farm sessions are one of my most frequently requested family photography sessions.. they’re also something that ‘sneaks up’ on many families because when they ask me about booking in September, they don’t realize those sessions have already been sold out! August is the time to book, for these special family sessions!

My family sessions at the Tree Farm (and in general, throughout the year!) are something I call ‘portrait and play’. My approach is to give you a combination of traditional ‘posed’ groupings, individual portraits, and a lot of playful natural interaction. This keeps it fun for the kids and gives you a ton of variety in your gallery 🙂 Our session lasts approximately 50 minutes, and can include a change of outfit if you’d like both a ‘fall’ look and a ‘winter’ look!

If you’d like to reserve your Tree Farm Family session this year, they usually sell out by the end of August, so now’s the time to contact me! We create these images at a very special privately owned Tree Farm in York, SC. The property is huge and offers a variety of trees and open fields.

Tree Farm sessions will be from Nov. 1- Nov. 24. Registration is open as of TODAY. So, if you have a November date in mind, please reach out to me now (especially if you’d like a weekend session, those go first!) to save your date.

Please keep in mind, Daylight Savings begins on November 3rd, so we will have an ‘earlier’ sunset. To make the most of our outdoor light, I recommend beginning around 4pm 🙂
